Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welfare Rights Administrator to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Welfare Rights team ensure the finances are managed to high standard, for those people that Achieve Together are appointed for. 
  • Input invoices into a manual payment run each week to pay for the cost of care to those Achieve Together are appointee for. 
  • Administer post to individual caseworkers daily. 
  • Manage various inboxes to answer simple queries, or forward on to individual caseworkers. 
  • Be flexible in working on ongoing project work, as assigned by the Welfare Rights Supervisor. 
  • Use Excel and Mail Merge systems to generate bank statements from a central Corporate account monthly.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable and able to use excel. 
  • Experience in working in a busy environment, with a high post turnover. 
  • Experience of working in care home settings is desirable
  • Great communication skills - you will need to communicate clearly and respectfully with vulnerable people on occasion. 
  • Patience, empathy and being able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. 
  • Office skills like using a computer and online filing, so you can update and track records. 
  • Organisation and self-management skills. 
  • Being able to stay calm and mentally resilient in challenging situations.
